UX/UI DESIGN - IOS - ANDROID - BRANDING - Usability TEST - user personas - user flowClaimed is a tool designed for content creators to locate their work across the web and incorporate it into their online portfolios. Utilizing Google Lens, Claimed searches images to find associated publications. Additionally, it provides a platform for content creators to add unclaimed work to their portfolios, thereby expanding their brand and facilitating networking within the industry.
Claimed solves a common problem that many artists and content creators face every day. They struggle to find their published work that has not been associated with their name. Often, this material remains unclaimed and is potentially lost because artists are unaware of their features on websites, magazines, blogs, etc.
Using UI Kits for iOS 16 and Material Design, Claimed was designed to offer a highly intuitive experience for both iOS and Android users, staying true to Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design standards for visual styling, motion, and gestures. The resulting apps for both platforms are harmoniously unified through consistent use of color, typography, and iconography.
When determining the overall user experience of Claimed, the following key features were identified:
- Uploading an image to receive a curated list of publications featuring the searched image.
- Finding trending material.
- Showcasing work in your portfolio, including claimed content and collaborations.
The wireframing process for both the Android and iOS versions embraced distinct design principles. On Android, Material Design components were employed to ensure familiarity and fluidity, while iOS wireframes adhered to Human Interface Guidelines, emphasizing clarity and minimal aesthetics. Despite platform-specific differences, both versions maintained consistent branding aspects and a seamless, intuitive journey for Android and iOS users alike.
Claimed effectively addresses the pain point of unattributed work by providing content creators with a powerful tool for reclamation and collaboration. By integrating Google Lens, offering portfolio integration, and fostering a collaborative environment, the platform empowers artists to regain control over their creations. Claimed is more than an application—it's a conduit for empowerment, a gateway to recognition, and a celebration of the boundless potential that thrives within every artist.
